Chocolate & Art Show, Los Angeles

             

Started the weekend off with attending an art show!

Well it all actually started on Thursday, when we tied down ten paintings (each over 4×4 feet, most were 5×6!) into the back of Jacob’s pickup truck. We threw some canvas drop cloths over them for protection, then took them onto the LA freeways into downtown! Nerve wrecking for sure, but we made it with all of his work in one piece for the day-before drop off at the Monk Space.

Then for the show Friday night! We were there from 8pm-2am, a looong time to be standing around, but it was so much fun! Lots of crazy artists, crazier art, and a chocolate fountain : ) I acted as promoter, handing out these rack cards I designed to any potential buyers:

 

We’ll be heading to Reseda next weekend for a show twice the size >_< Wish me luck!
